The article does not mention charges being laid against the scum that had these dogs under those horrific conditions. I propose that they should have to pay for ALL costs associated with the rescue of them and all costs for their care and recovery.

It wouldn't hurt to also have them (and all others who commit this crime) spend a sentence living under the same conditions. No shelter, tethered to a post and lying in their own shit. But, alas, that would be cruel wouldn't it?

Given the number of these instances and the lack of response from our judicial system, maybe it's time to go full vigilante on these pond scum assholes.

But better yet would be our Gov't to pass a bill similar to one the Americans did making animal cruelty a Federal Felony and not just for bestiality but for the mistreatment of any animals. That might be enough of a deterrent to stop this crap.

Now excuse me while I go and hug my dogs.

Oh I like that ALL costs would add up very fast. But sadly it wont happen
