The town already explained to the snot and bawlers that they don't fly minority group flags, the mayor when asked why he voted against flying the rainbow flag quoted the bible and for this they are persecuting a devote Christian. He's being hauled before the Human Rights Commission because he hurt some gay guys feelings. It's beyond bullying it's pure hatred hurled from the gays towards Christians.

Who the hell are they to dictate to the town what they should and shouldn't do, it's bad enough we have gay pride week in our schools what's next enforced gay pride week in the work force. Enough of this GAY madness. As for the councillors and staff taking professional developement who the fuck do the gay community think they are, this is pure intimadation and appeasement. Guess what I don't care if someones gay, it seems to the only thing that defines the new gay crowd thou. Because the Gay community isn't happy with being EQUAL in Canada they want to influence every aspect of public and private life lest it offends these cry babies.

Personally I would not care if they wanted to fly a rainbow for gay day. If the town has already let other groups fly flags then there is no reason to not have their rainbow for an event. However according to protocol the national and provincial flags take precedence over others except the royal standard. Others should only be flown if a pole is available.

I want a Dutch flag to fly on my birthday...

What a waste of taxpayers money again

The funny thing is, Mike Smith, the mayor, put the flag up on a county council flagpole anyway. He didn't even consult his councillors on that one.

Bill's decision was probably the right one, but for absolutely the wrong reasons - that a mayor would cite religious beliefs to support council decisions is ludicrous.

The town does not need to adopt an "affirmative action" policy, but it's really hard to support the mayor after his comments.
