right on!!!! let's hope they (the commmittee) also look into if Harper lied or not about whether he saw the letter or not that Schreiber sent to the PM's office months ago...I just laugh that the Justice Minister got over ruled by the Speaker in issuing the warrant... This may be the straw that breaks Harper finally people will see Harper as the clone of Bush that he truly is... Then get a new leader for the Liberals (Justin Trudeau) and bye bye to the Reform/Conservatives that is putting a bad light on our country is so many ways...for example not honouring the Kyoto agreement and us being in a war in Afghanistan

Do a search for Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioners in Google all details there...

It is ironic that Harper brought in this Comittee and now it may be the findings from it that finally bite him in the asss!!!

but this commitee is actually about something else i understand , it was never called the schreiber commitee wasn't it a commitee on privacy ? or something else .

this opposition dominated commitee is over steping its rights and by not waiting for the actual inquiry complete with a quality judge , we might not get the whole or accurate story .

could only get a media frenzy not the truth .

But Schreiber's lawyer Edward Greenspan said yesterday his client does not feel he will be able to tell his story effectively in a rush appearance before the committee and is therefore unlikely to co-operate.

"He will not speak. Now, if they think by some grandstanding political play they can make political hay out of that, fine. But they must understand he will not speak," Greenspan said in an interview.

An unco-operative or silent witness at a Commons committee can be charged with contempt of Parliament, which carries the threat seldom used of being sent to jail.

"What are they going to do if he refuses? Put him in jail?" said Greenspan. "That's where he is."

Before I testify, I want a big hotel room, with room service.. and a cheeseburger.. and a pony..
I'd ask when these morons are going to wise up from being fooled, but then they do vote Liberal after all. :D

    You mean like posting such mature observations as;
Harper as the clone of Bush that he truly is

    or maybe this gem,

get a new leader for the Liberals (Justin Trudeau)

    or lastly,

not honouring the Kyoto agreement and us being in a war in Afghanistan

Immature juvenile posts deserve to be dealt with accordingly. Now back to your gay lover!

Using the Toronto Star as a verifiable source eh?

Once again you prove my point about you. When its a point you support you extoll the Star's accurracy but when you don't agree suddenly its a Liberal biased rag.

You keep saying I'm trying to paint you as some partisan hack but the truth is its yourself who manages to do that quite nicely.
