The Charter is a Canadian legal concept. It don't travel to stone-age countries just 'cos we do.
Very silly application by these groups.
OTTAWA -- Prime Minister Stephen Harper declared Monday that Canadian troops would not transfer Taliban prisoners to Canada as suggested by Liberal leader Stephane Dion as an alternative to torture by Afghan intelligence officers in that country.
