The organizer of the re-enactment of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham says the event will likely go ahead this summer — in the United States.

    The group that was going to do it was going to do the Plains of Abraham one day and the war of 1812 on the next. These are hard core history buffs and cancelling it probaly pissed them off more than most of us.

    Another example of something Canadian that has to leave before we recognise it's importance.

    And 11 other battles during the spring and summer, there 2100 Americans coming up here to do the P of A.

    They'll do it in Cornwall. The only losers in this will be the tourist business in la belle Province.
