They built it in Tupelo, but Toyota may not come

Waiting for better times, Toyota Motor Corp. recently pulled the plug on the $1.3-billion (U.S.) plant, located outside Tupelo, Miss. The complex is little more than a shell, without even a corporate sign laying claim to the 1,700-acre site.
