I'm sure it's not intended to be a scam, but there are some series issues I personally have with a service like this being on facebook.

I agree with you LightStarr... and on top of that, I just don't see the practicality in having such a service. If you wished to send money, why not use the safe method of Paypal?

or, you know, hand the cash to your friend -- without being charged a 1.9% commission when it goes into a bank account.

Well of course, if that is a valid option for payment. There are other times when people need money, ie; a daughter in college wants to make a purchase online but has no money so the parents send some cash via PayPal, etc.

There is also the option to email money through most bank accounts as well, but yea. There is no real need for this and if I were the people at facebook I would be weary to the point where I wouldn't allow it.

Facebook has gotten highly fucking irritating lately and I'm thinking of quitting.

So much spam everywhere, it's become a cesspool of retardation.

I remember the good old days when I could actually vent on Facebook without worrying about who will see it. I am either going to quit as well, make a separate one, or do some "Spring Cleaning". Anyone who posses a threat is off my friend list.

It's becoming outdated, problem areas are showing, and it excessively limits customization.

Oh, I remember MySpace. I don't even know any Canadians who use it daily.

Issue is, I'm definitely not moving on to Twitter, which lacks pretty much everything. So I wonder what the new Social Networking frontier will be after Facebook collapses.

Ahh, I got rid of my Facebook a long time ago. Much happier for it.
