Paparazzi wielding cameras fitted with long lenses collectively hold their breath to get the best shot of their preening subject.

This is a gorgeous sanctuary, a really nice place to take a walk and see such a variety of birds. When you are wandering around in there you can hardly believe you are so close to the city. Anyone in here that lives locally and hasn't been there should check it out and make sure you take your camera. I actually haven't been there since I got my new camera last year so I think it's time that I went there again...

If you get out there, you have got to take the trail along the East dyke to see if there are any Saw-whet owls hanging around. Some years there are quite a few and some years there ain't none as they are preyed upon by the bigger owls. Check with Varri at the gate when you get there.....and say hi for me....

Sounds like an amazing place, indeed. The article peaked my interest, but some pics *cough, cough* might intrigue me to pester the living hell outta Q to make the trek down there. Might have to find a cozy (well recommended) place for a beer, too.
