They are getting to be a nuisance and a real embarrassment. Most, not all, are simply spoiled brats.

One thing, although do not want to post as one trick pony, but part of the blame has to be put on the Quebec Francophone media. They constantly take the pro-side of the protesters. It is also very important to note that this same provincial media has never once reported on the tuition fees of other provinces, thus no comparison ever done. But they sure do like to bash the cops and criticise their every move.

There are even some propaganda videos done by useless Quebec artists that rely on Government funding. Blocking access to the population is actually applauded. The leftists of this province usually get their ways and have the media on their side. Vive la gau-gauche au Qubec 'stie.

In case students ever side with the independance movement, they should be told what tuition prices would be like with no equalization payments.

Actually it should come as no surprise that the PQ (separatist party) supports the students' cause to protest. They have also the support of the elite left from the plateau, artists, union leaders. Several journalists support the cause. As for the graph and the information deliberately left out by the Quebec media :

And these spoiled brats keep on protesting. They refuse to negotiate, probably some Unions behind the movemement. That's a good image to portray, blocking bridges amongst other things, to piss off those who actually contribute, the tax payers.

    This is shameful.

Ok, so this is getting outright embarrassing for the province.

They have the lowest tuition rates in the country still manage to find the way to protest and cause damage without any recognition for the taxpayers, you know the ones that actually contribute to their socialized programs.

The fucking punks, the unions (CSN amongst others) and the black bloc involvment, out to brawl.

I watched the news, saw the latest protests in Greece where spoiled punks were shitting their own bed because they were no longer getting their way...

then saw it was in Quebec.

The thing is that there are Quebecers, that are regular taxpayers, that are pissed at the protesters' behavior. Still, not much is said about them throughout the media (provincial and ROC). Although, the few protesters do not represent the populace, yet they are often the loud minority being vocal instead of the silent majority, assumed that would be important enough to point out. :D

Oh I know, don't think for a second I blame all of Quebec for the actions of its winiest few. I'm surprised though that there is no counter protest from the tax payers footing the bill for these shitpumps.

I know. The thing is that often the act of a few portrays a conflicting image.

With the police unabled to counter the violence acts and some elites excusing and tolerating them since the beginning of the conflict, that would be a terrible idea. The young punks will think that agressing physically the protesters against them is a mean to protect their "freedom of speech" (really, they say that.)

The fact that the provincial government is not budging, that is something not very common in this province, but the Charest govt is only doing it for votes.

The thing is that tuition hikes should have been done earlier, sequencially. But the fact that this current Govt backed in 2005 and the PQ always previously giving in to protests, nothing was ever done. Now the students bitch about the sudden raise.

Honestly, I think I have to try to find some articles or opinion pieces that come from the other side, because so far I can't understand at all how these people think they're justified in their actions.

They're protesting minor tuition hikes because they say they will deny them their access to an education? And then turning around and denying other students their access to education?

The professors I can atleast understand. I'm sure they still get paid ven if their students are on strike, so why not encourage them and get a little vacation for themselves...?
