A court in southern Vietnam has sentenced an Australian citizen to death for heroin trafficking.

Would it have made a difference if the guilty was 35? In this case age shouldn't make one bit of difference and actually should work against the guilty. If anyone should have been smart enough to know not to piss off a communist dictatorship by trafficking in heroin you'd think it'd be a 73 year old former resident who grew up and escaped from that socialist paradise.

Times may change but in those places, the laws don't.
