California is taking its fight against global warming to the farm. The nation's leading agricultural state is now targeting greenhouse gases produced by dairy cows and other livestock.

you might think this is sort of amusing, but in reality, the dairy, cattle and poultry industry accounts for more than double the output of everything man puts out in energy and transportation combined. So if you think that changing your light bulbs to LED's and buying an electric car, and eliminating coal fire generation will make much of a difference, your only addressing less than half of the problem.

All this means is that Californian's will pay more for beef, poultry, dairy, and eggs shipped in from other states.

It also means that the eventual Federal lawsuit against this bullshit will occur sometime in the next few months.

Actually, some farmer from PEI found a way to vastly reduce the amount of methane released from cow burps and farts. He had been feeding his cows seaweed for about a decade and noticed a 20% decrease in methane release. With some help from Dalhousie University, it was discovered that red seaweed, Asparagopsis taxiformis, reduces methane in cows burps and farts to almost nothing. And the cows are quite healthy eating it.

It's just a matter of time before slogans like 'Milk does a body good' get labelled hate speech in California.

Everything is hate speech in California because all that matters is the of the person who is offended.

See, it's not the truth that matters it's the seriousness of the charges that matters.

Does that mean those bean eating vegans will have to pay pay more for their flatulent inducing culinary habits?
