Repeat? A couple of years ago they did the same thing: huge coverage of the 19 guys who allegedly were going to fly planes into Pickering--all released and turned out to be total BS. Given that earlier in the week the Senate testimony of that Hooper dude, and then there is a mass arrest 'made to ord...

Brilliant Insight Chantel... Jeez that's why I read the MSM to find out what everyone knew the minute Martin resigned... That's probably why I have lost interest in all this; the urgency of the Opposition parties supporters don't match the lack of urgency of the actual elected leaders. It all seems ...

There is NO problem that the Quebec government has to study; it already knows the answer. It has to do with the fact that there are 6 million French-speakers in a sea of 300 million English-speakers...that's never going to change and Quebec must impose draconian rules to stem off natural attrition. ...

Good piece and Fisk's book is 'must read'. Haven't read Glavin's, but I do recommend "The Pig Who Sang to the Moon : The Emotional World of Farm Animals " by Masson. It's a great book as he tries to interpret the world from the point of view of animals. It's humbling and that's is really w...

This a little simplistic and like one comment suggested; why would one want to read about an analogy about American immigration politics on a Canadian site? **(Im)Migration is as old as evolution itself.** This is just plain dishonest and wrong--there is huge difference between migration and modern ...

I think your right Perturbed... I was a fairly strong supporter of the native action, but after the events of a day ago, there is obviously NO ONE in charge on the other side as their position and tactics keep changing... It's ultimately going to come down to a negotiated settlement anyway and last ...

Why are progressives calling for debate and not withdrawal?
