A distinctly centrist platform, I might point out. Ought to suggest (to the reactionary right and left alike) what it takes to win in this country. Let's just hope it's not all BS if they get a majority. |

The constitutional challenge will clearly be based in freedom of religeon. Conservatives should be concerned because the approach to solution should not risk/weaken the charter right at the expense of the issue. |

No, it wouldn't. But a *legal* challenge under the charter might. So if I'm a prudent government I'd gather legal opinions from across the spectrum of possiblity before writing policy (or worse, legislation) that doesn't anticipate it. I'd even do that if I was a conservative government planning to ... |
