Bush's whole argument for going to war was based on the fact that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction that were poised and ready to attack the US. It was because of this supposed emminent danger that the USA had to strike first. Now there are no weapons to be found... Because they are having such...

Hey, anyone can show off and prove they are the best PM by doing great things for Canada. I think it's even more a rarity in the world of Canadian politics to be attractive!!!...Cause it doesn't happen very often! :D I know it's a frivolous post but here in the USA Good Friday isn't a holiday and I'...

Amen to that...but the thing that scares me is that I don't think anyone is even going to question it if weapons of mass destruction aren't found.

It has nothing to do with craving attention from Georgey. It's symbolic, it's a snub that Canada is not important enough to be worth his time. I don't care if he ever goes to Canada...but I do care that the current attitude towards Canada by the US could effect trade and possibly the Canadian econom...

This is somewhat off the current topic of conversation but is anyone else irritated by the fact that the White House has rejected the three alternative dates for George W. to visit Canada? I'm not sure why this bugs me cause I don't like Bush but I'm not a fan of Cretien's either. I think it's just ...

It scares the hell out of me. I feel cut off from the world most of the time. Isn't that ironic that despite the 24/7 news channels I feel as though there isn't a world beyond my little corner of it? I was never a huge fan of Canadian news (pretty dry at times) but now I miss it because there was so...

Just need to bitch about Fox for a second here. I'm so sick and tired of their "Fair and Balanced" crap. If you like your news leaning heavily to the right...then great. And since when did giving your personal opinion about something become news/journalism? Isn't it just supposed to be the facts? Ac...

Speaking as someone who has had the privilage to experience both healthcare systems I personally prefer the Canadian one. It's just nice to know that in the event something tragic happened (that requires a long hospital stay) my family wouldn't be financially devestated. Seriously...even with insura...

I'm a Canadian from Alberta currently living in the US and I still like to hear what Klein has to say. He's one politician I feel I can believe at least part of the time. He states his policies, sets a budget and then follows it regardless of the fact that it may not be the most popular thing. I sti...

LOL...ah yes...variety is the spice of life! I was thinking that the US would be the first to attack us (irony anyone...a country we look to defend us instead attacks us?) But then I relax when I remember we are too insignificant to them to know where we are on the globe. (A underhanded remark I kno...

Already did that...and according to them the US is the reason why we haven't been attacked by anyone yet. Basically if we didn't have them as next door neighbours we would have been attacked a long time ago. Maybe...but Switzerland is a neutral country surrounded by many other countries more powerfu...
