Rammstein was formed in 1993 by an assembly of factory-weary proletarians raised in East Germany. They took their name (adding an "m") from the location of a German tragedy where 80 people were hurt and killed as the result of a crash during an American Air Force flight show. The literal translation...

You are completely right Twila, it is a stupid remark. I mean, just because I wear a maple leaf cap or coat or whatever, does not mean, I'm not now, nor ever going to be an American, and I will always reject them. To me, all it means is, I am a Canadian, I love my country, I want you to know this. W...

You're completely right, many Americans who scream insults at Canada do so because we refused to help them in Iraq, but we had good reason to do so, it was an unlawful war. I mean, sure the Iraqis needed to get rid of Saddam, but US said it was because of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Although everyo...

Well, if you've ever seen the movie bowling for columbine, you'd think otherwise. One example Micheal Moore uses is a news report saying, Americans shouldn't say they're American when travelling out of country. And anyway, the only reason they said that is they don't want us showing our flag when we...

Find the full story here: Canadians Recieving Medals! I also submitted this as news, I am waiting for someone to ok it or throw it out :) I think its pretty important, especially that the US recognizes the four soldiers they mistakenly bombed. I'm not gonna make any accusations though, but, hell, it...

On my father's side, my great-great-great grandfather was born in Ireland in 1798, and my great-great-great grandmother was born in Scotland around the same time. My mothers side was from europe also. My grandfather was born in Czechoslavakia (that how to spell it?) and left when he was sixteen (his...

About a year ago I was in a computer sciences course in my high school, which was all about programming, such as Windows OOT/Visual Basics, and HTML. During that time I was one of the best in my class at HTML. although I failed everything else :) Around two months ago my computer crashed and I had t...

I am having a problem with MSN lately. I use MSN to preform searches all the time, and it is my favourite search engine because I am so used to it. (Although I do hate Microsoft with a passion) and lately, when I go to http://www.msn.com and type in something to search (does this for everything) it ...

Its a shame that Adams died so close to having the movie created (Died in 2001) go to the Dogulas Adams Website, it gives a biography on him and a collection of his works. He had an amazing imagination.

Well Canadaka, the BBC was the original series of The Hitch Hiker's guide to the Galaxy, Adams series was then only on radio, and aired for the first time on March 8th, 1978. Soon after it became successful (after a couple of weeks people started to notice it) he was then commisioned by Pan Books to...

About a week ago I started reading the book, the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and it is now my favourite book, 'cause its funny, stupid and sci-fi all at the same time. Anyway, I'm just wonderin' if there is anyone else on the site that has read, or is reading this really amazing book.
