What I meant by that Electric, was that what can we do about the US? But I do agree with you completely about supporting the development of 3rd world countries. But sometimes, it does seem kind of pointless. We spend years helping to bring peace to one country, and then the US starts a conflict in a...

Another thing about americans I think is strange (not particularly all americans) but, after the blackout happened, people were selling T-Shirts that said, "I survived the 2003 Blackout". it was one day! OMG! And, about the 9/11 Attacks, many people don't know that it was a Canadian that ordered NOR...

Rev_Blair: The problem with Shamus is that he puts things out there...makes accusations and claims...but makes no attempt to back them up. That and poetry sucks. I've watched that movie dozens of times. And everytime it makes me wonder, WTF is wrong with the majority of americans that don't agree with these gun laws in the US. I mean, why haven't they lobbied for change yet? Another thing that I find hard to believe is that Americans lock their doors during ...

Well, that is really interesting. I had actually thought that the US Government was behind 9/11 when it happened, but, in a more joking manner. I never knew that the connections between the Bush family and the bin Laden's were so deep. One thing that they did not mention in the timeline however, was...

The reason that American English is different from regular English is because they wanted to lose all ties to Britain. That is why there is an American dictionary by Webster. He was the one that changed many of the words after the American Revolution. Such as ...
