Christ, first learn how to quote properly. First of all, I never said that these articles were in junction NOW . Second, these articles merely point out inconsistancies with the current equalization programs in status TODAY. Can you not argue that Harper is running for votes? What better way to get...

Actually I did prove it, you just can't accept it. Not my fault. Oh, and where was that? Here. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/01/17/fiscal-imbalance.html and the article above which you clearly ignored. Yet you're basing your argument on government websites and not local or provincal news. Int...

No, actually what I posted is reality, not speculation. How do you know it is speculation?

The Federal Governement hasnt annouced it's budget yet, until it does... It's speculation.

Edit: It's just a report, and until any governement acts on it, it's nothing.

Ok so the official Canadian Government Website isnt good?

A Canadian government website and reality are two different things.[/quote]

Keep speculating, or provide proof. Either way, you failed to proove that Québec gets the most per capita, from the Equalisation Program.

Thanks, you forgot to factor in the politics.

Nice Edit, now please tell... What politics? That's the official formula as it is right now, for 2006-2007. That's what the provinces will receive, until said otherwise. What you posted, is still speculation.

Thanks for the basic framework, unfortunately (for most Canadian provinces) that's not exactly how it works although it is supposed to. I think my website is more informative to reality. Nice try.

I would think that if Harper had really led the Quebecios into the Federalist fold, and convinced them to drop their Bloc support from 52% to 32%, he would have won their votes as well as their hearts, instead of which the facts show that it was Liberals who get their votes! Stop confusing the Bloc...

Tricks Tricks:
Ah but the Conservatives are expected to do just that in under a year.

Actually, the conservatives are implementing all the policies Dion did. Well, the policies Ambrosa cut, and that they are now puting back in place because they noticed this was actually an issue with Canadians.

Dion wasn't environment minister until 2004.

Wow, you just made yourself a hypocrite. Less then 2 years to change a 13 year record on the issue? If you want to blame someone, blame Martin and Chretien. Not Dion.
