Also I can't really say I am atheist or Buddhist at work. If my boss found out I am not a Christian anymore. He can say oh you can work on Christmas. Why need to celebrate the holiday if your not a christian! |

So, let me get this right. There are some Christian dicks where you live who pick on Atheists, which somehow justifies you being a dick in the forums to the religious people on this site who've done nothing more to you than say they have religious beliefs. How I am being a dick? I say there is no g... |

Pseudonym Pseudonym: Christmas is definitely a Christian holiday, although Winter Solstice is not. Does anyone actually celebrate Winter Solstice?
The Wiccans & Neo Druids do.
Did you know most of the Christmas traditions like the Christmas tree and mistletoe were from pagan traditions? |

Agreed. I have my own very strong beliefs, but I would not mock or undermine someone elses - whether it's a belief in something or a belief in nothing. In Bellingham Washington, there are signs heading north too lynden. Where there is anti-abortion signs everywhere with all a Christian message. Do ... |

If you do the math. If something has a 1 and a googoplex chance of not being there. It makes it fact that something will not be there.

You should read the link you posted. They said God was a scientific improbability, not impossibility. No there is ALWAYS a possibility. Like there IS a possibility for a magic unicorn to come in and take me away to Oz. The possibility is there. it's just VERY small. Like a 1 and a googolplex chance. |

Athiests are making a claim, even if that claim is nothing, and providing no proof. Not sure why Athiests need to go around this buoy every few months, but they certainly have a need. We do have scientific proof that there is no god. Why There Almost Certainly Is No God http://www.huffingtonpost.co... |

http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/god-on-the-brain/ Rudi Affolter and Gwen Tighe have both experienced strong religious visions. He is an atheist; she a Christian. He thought he had died; she thought she had given birth to Jesus. Both have temporal lobe epilepsy. Like other forms of epilepsy, the condi... |

Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes: Gunnair Gunnair: I don't see athiests offering scientific proof to the contrary.
Its not up to the atheists to provide proof that god doesnt exists, they are not the ones making the claim.
It's our friends the scientists who are giving us the evidence against the idea of religion. |

Not quite sure what their point is. I'd be curious to see the uproar if big signs saying "You're going to hell if you don't accept Christ" were plastered over the sides of buses. It's only meant to be provocative, not open a dialogue. Also most atheist groups are targeting Christians beca... |

If The Doctor is a pacifist then good for him and he should not be the target of any disrespect for his views so long as: 1. He never calls the police to potentially commit acts of violence on his behalf. 2. He never expects the military to commit acts of violence on his behalf. 3. He has no proble... |

Yea, and without firepower our democracy would be trampled on. Carry on in your basement Doc, like I said before, plenty of us are willing to protect our way of life while you sit at home and undermine us. You never get the symbolism of the picture. Unless you really think forcing Democracy onto na... |
