Here are the questions one by one. They bear scrutiny. How is it all Liberal policies are bad but this one is good enough for the Conservatives to extend three more years? They knew the sunset clause was there and was about to expire. Then why didn't they have something to put in place? Isn't the s...

Looks like Dion can't make priorities, can't speak English and can't take critisism. That makes for a super leader! Well Harper can't make priorities, either. He has changed all his priorities in one year! As for speaking English, it is not helping Harper much, since everyone realises that he is a ...

If Dion was a real leader he'd simply say that he would not want Cote back in the party. Yes, let the procedure of reinstatement take place, but Dion should personally say those admitting to wrong doing are not welcome. It was not an "error" as Mr. Dion likes to say, it was blatant theft....

I think Iggy's Canada is a scary place to be. A place where the PM can throw people in jail just because he or she wants to do that. A country where the RCMP is not independent of the PMO and prosecuting attorneys are also at the beck and call of the PM. We don't know what Harper is doing and isn't ...

And Harper keeps him out of jail to do it! Are you suggesting that Harper is getting a part of Chretien's slice? Why do conservatives protect Liberal crooks? :D Wait till Sheila Fraser is done with you Liberals not many people will confess to being one. So you say that Harper is not jailing ...

Iggy just doesn't get it. Money contributed as an insurance premium is not the same as money paid as taxes. The re-direction of funds in this case was not the same as using tax money originally allocated for roads on another project. What you are failing to grasp is that the EI funds were not tax mo...

As an aging redneck, I admit that I tend to keep my views very simplistic and grounded to basic common sense. I will continue to insist that money that is collected under the premise of an insurance premium has no business being used to prop up a government that was otherwise too f#cken incompetent...

I dont consider it 8 straight surpluses. Why? Because the liberals stole 52 billion dollars from a bloated EI fund, instead of lower our premiums. Furthermore, without the 52 billion dollars that they stole, and DESPITE THE HIGHER REVENUES AND STRONGER ECONOMY, the liberals would not have a balanced...

WINNIPEG, OTTAWA — Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion will use Jean Chrétien's successful 1993 campaign as a model for the next election, he told party supporters yesterday. So it's business as usual for the Liberals. Make stuff up, play off the "hidden agenda" and wrap you'reself in the flag. ...

I don't think Dion is a stupid person. I'm sure he's quite intelligent but it was certainly stupid to say he won't support a budget that doesn't even exist yet. It does tell me that he truly isn't 100% committed to the betterment of Canada and Canadians, only committed to the electoral fortunes of t...

Stephane Dion won't support the next Tory budget? It hasn't even been tabled and he's already saying he's unlikely to support it. What a stupid thing to say and what a gift for the Tories. Now all the Tories have to do is table a budget that includes items the Liberals will be hard pressed to defeat...

I thought the example of the owner's son getting more was a ridiculous example. It shows nothing as far as pay equity. It only shows that the owner is paying someone in his own family too much. The owner wants his son to stay in the company. This is why he's overpaid for the job. I doubt this is wha...

Stephen Harper has said that the 1% reduction in GST will cost federal coffers $4.5 billion a year. This is a lot of money that remains in the pockets of Canadians. The reduction in GST will mostly be spent instead of saved. So for your hard earned money, you will be able to get more. Business will ...
