I'm realy sold on early 90's rock and I firmly believe that the first half of the 90's was the renaissance of popular musik and of youth icons.

There for I am dedicating a topic for early 90's rock and I plead to anyone with great knowledge of this music period to step forward and share it!

could it BE more early 90's:

L.A.P.D - Slicky Slixter, three of the org. band members would later form, the infinitely popular group, Korn with the addition of lead vocalist Jonathan Davis. Lead vocalist of L.A.P.D (Love And Peace Dude / later / Laughing As People Die), Richard Morill, struggled with drug addiction and wanished from the music scene soon after.

I'm currently searching for musik of this type from this period of time and would greatly appreciate if anyone had info. to share.

Thanks in advance.

Cooooooool! :D

Yeah, I got most of their early stuff. Along with Nirvana, 4 Non Blondes, Babes in Toyland, Cranberries, Fear Factory, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, Toadies, Tool.
But I'm sure I've missed a lot of hidden gems.

Wait... Ministry? Never heard of 'em! .. I think... Need to check 'em out.

Ministry rocks! Try Skinny Puppy as well, more 80's than 90's though.

Offspring started good and then turned into a sappy top 40 type band.

Just listened to "Just One Fix" by Ministry.. think it's from '92. Rammstein must have been influenced by these guys like crazy. But it says Ministry's been at it since '81. We could include Metallica then. Got all of their records but was actually never that impressed by the "Black album", from 1990.

Which bands did you get to see at Lollapalooza in '92?

I got some Skinny Puppy songs but as you said, they got more of an 80's feel to it.
