oh i loved walk the line and i think it said he played in canada once or twice-- so was curious cuz i just watched it again last night :P

Oh he played in Canada a whole lot more than once or twice. He played up here many times over many tours.

He is definitely way up there for me. One of my all time favourites. He is in a three way tie right now for my favourite artists. Bobby Darin, Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra.

In his later days he had a cabin near La Ronge, Saskatchewan where he'd come to fish and hang out. He was the one and only celebrity up there I'd say.

He did?!!

Johnny Cash was the man. I have a few albums and a T shirt... ...I like some country, but am more of a rocker myself. I'm a Cash fan.

Im a metal man so i pretty much don't like country.....Johnny Cash is the exception to that. I started listening to the man in black cause the boys played some of his songs in the Jr ranks mess and they grew on me i guess. PDT_Armataz_01_34

Johnny Cash was a great singer along with his wife June Carter. My dad had most of his songs on cassette. After he passed on, I have them now and am trying to get them put on CD.

I just bought a big Box Set with about 120 songs on it. Im not that far into it though but its good.

You know, I dont think I would really consider Johnny a pure country singer. His stuff cant really be fit into one genre all the time. His image, his music is something else.
