there isn't any jobs ? thats bs and you know it , there is still plenty of jobs all across canada to be found .
plus there is many being created thru economic development and stimulus projects , there is something like 3000 projects being planned or just geting started all across the country . the opposition can't claim there is nothing being done when there is lots being done .

Do you mean the stimulus plan that the Liberals and NDP demanded Harper enact? The stimulus plan costing some 50 billion dollars that Harper did not want to do under any circumstance to avoid a deficit? The stimulus plan and its cost that are being blamed on the Liberals and NDP?

Is that the stimulus plan you are crowing about?

So which is it? Does Harper get credit for the plan and the deficit its costing or are you still claiming that the deficit is the fault of the opposition because they demanded it (meaning they get full credit for the stimulus plan also)?

Polls show today if Iggy as you like to call him .. brings them down.. the libs would win.. the bloc and the NDP are ready to go.. and on Monday,, I hope Ignatieff brings him down!

none of the parties are really ready to go , they all have no money and no candidates ready . there simply not ready for a real election . making this whole episode rather rediclous and somewhat stuiped .

and iggy is showing that he's only in it for him and that he doesn't care what canadians want as they clearly do not want one during a recession and especially not one during the summer , this is just plain rediclous .

Iggy's the one thinking it over. He hasn't forced an election yet.

Iggy is but low and behold you have the vocal partisan hacks like riden and ryan proving that no matter what he does they'll complain.

I'm not complaining, I think though you might be mistaking their ridicule/sarcasm to actual complaints.

the deficit is the product of the recession , and most provincial governments are running one too . and i think canadians expect that during a recession a deficit is more expected and not that big a deal . in the long run there not good but in the short term one can be dealt with as a necessary evil if the government is expected to fund all these stimulus projects and increased unemployment demands .
i'm honeslty not that bothered by the defict as long as its temporary and be more bothered by tax increases or government service cuts during the recession which be harmful .

So did the Consevatives fail the 'probation" or is Iggy following Dion with his abstain-o-rama?

the conservatives did all that iggy asked them to , they produced a quality report on the status of the economic stimulus package and the economy in general . i don't understand what more the liberals want , there like the teacher who fails you even when you do what you were told to do , its just plain crazy .

Iggy was demanding that the government addopt the national 360 hour EI limit and that hasn't been done.

All his bluster and demands are a paper tiger because the bankers that pull his strings are the ones who call the shots. After all, they put him there.

No. The deficit is the product of Harpers ill advised tax cuts and increased spending well prior to the economic downturn. Thats why economist were telling him that.

There is a difference between complaining and ridicule in this context?

Canadaka Canadaka:
I want Harper gone, but I don't know if I want an election right now, because like someone already said, I want to see a majority. I think given some more time the conservatives will make more and more "gaffs" and make a majority more of a possibility.

Why do you guys want a majority so bad? Would you rather not test the waters first with this untried leader and a new cabinet?

My major questions:

What is his stance on Healthcare?

What is his stance on Education?

What is his stance on Cross-border trade?

What is his stance on the military?

What will he do to promote regional mass-transit systems in major Canadian metros?

What will he do to promote HSR between Calgary and Edmonton, Windsor and Quebec, and Vancouver and Seattle?

None of that piddly little stuff matters because Stephen Harper hates people with cancer. And he personally gave 'em all AIDS, too.

I'm asking a serious question. If you can't be bothered to come up with a non-partisan and informed answer then don't bother responding at all. I'm not some Liberal or some Conserative out looking for a fight, I'm a swing voter who actually tries to take politics seriously.
