This puppy's going off-topic!

Regarding Michael Moore, he is definitely not viewed as a "moderate to right winger" by Canadians. And I doubt that many people take him seriously as a journalist either. He doesn't pretend to be an objective journalist, but instead offers commentary and social critique.

GA-FuBaR GA-FuBaR:
Look what Mr.Moore has done here, he has pitted the members against each other. It's obvious that in his work he throws in his personal opinion, but then again tell me one politcal documentarian who isn't. Once you can distinguish the facts from the opinions, his works can really open your eyes. I have been a fan of Michael Moore since his tv show "The Awful Truth". Nobody seemed to be all that worried about him when he was taking on corporations and such. Now that he has questioned the motivation behind George Bush's relations with the Saudi Royals and the Bin Ladens, and the wide variety of reasons behind the war in Iraq, everyone is acting as he is Hitler or has released the plague across the world. This just isnt the case. What he does is make the connections between touchy subjects. That's something the 'Republicans' just can't handle. Everyone is afraid of the truth, no matter if they deny it or not.

The thing is, Bush has NO relations with Suadi's or the Bin Ladens. That's where all the bullshit is.

Depends on your definition of "proof". There is no evidence to support that theory.

I find it interesting how it's under the "conspiracy theories" section of the website.

Do you know what a conspiracy theory is?

If you read the article you would have seen how the relationship between the Bushes and the Saudis is clearly established.

No, it provides no proof for their claims.

"A conspiracy theory is a theory that defies common historical or current understanding of events, under the claim that those events are the result of manipulations by two or more individuals or various secretive powers or conspiracies.

Colloquially, a conspiracy theory is any unconventional theory about current or historical events, with the connotation that that theory is unfounded, outlandish, or irrational or in some way unworthy of serious consideration. In this sense, the term is sometimes used to refer to events with which no association to an actual "conspiracy" in the legal sense (two or more persons plotting and one overt act related to the plot) is claimed. In this sense "conspiracy theory" is often simply an allegation of clandestine action, based on little or no solid evidence. Thus the expression "conspiracy theory" in common speech is often used as a term of derision for an allegation that the speaker considers unproven, unlikely, or false.

Conspiracy theories in general allege that some particular event — such as an assassination, a revolution, or even the failure of a product — resulted not solely from the visible action of overt political or market forces, but rather from intentional covert action."

Typical bullshit retalliation...Someone makes a point that you disagree with and then...prove it. You want to see a report on the connection, how about you find me a report denying the connection. That isnt from bowlingfortruth.com or any crap like that. I want real news sources.

You're the one making the claim, therefore it is your duty to back it up with conclusive fact (and no, conspiracy theories don't cut it).
