No, but there is no choice. Deflation is worse than Inflation. Prices are too high, and they need to be cheaper. So the only way is to increase wages while holding prices until someone on minimum wage can afford to live.

We are talking a pay gap that hasn't kept pace with inflation since the 1970's. I concur with what you are saying and the end point remedy but the shock to the system in rectifying this could usher a collapse. If only there was a small class of say 1% that hasn't been paying their dues all along and has reaped massive rewards as a result that we could sequester...

It's funny how we humans see a problem, but delay the solution until the cure hurts immensely, when we could have fixed the problem earlier for less pain and lower cost. ;)
