It's already polluting. It's now the world leader in pollution.
They don't need our money to clean up. They need a reason, and a large tariff of their polluted products is the way to do it.

A large tariff from a very tiny market like Canada wont make any difference.

But, taxing the hell out of Canadians in an attempt to clean up part of the 2% of the worlds emissions that come from Canada will.

Carbon dioxide is good for the environment

Therefore CO2 is a public good. Therefore anti-CO2 alarmism is a public bad.

If you want to deal in spammy little non sequiturs, I mean.

Keep your CO2 on your private property if it is so good.

Why do these liberal fascist insist carbon dioxide is a poison? When it's as natural to the atmosphere as oxygen? Plants love C02. They thrive on C02. Matter fact if there was NO C02 there would be NO plants...

Stop breathing it out all over the environment if you think it's so bad. Me I like to see the plants grow bigger, so I exhale CO2 with a charitable grin. If you think it's harmful, and see yourself as the responsible one, the solution is simple. Stop breathing. When you breath you exhale CO2

Here's a quantity equation for you though. About 3 times the amount of CO2 we find in the atmosphere is pumped into a commercial hothouse to make commercial agriculture products such as tomatoes grow better. Ever eat a tomatoe?

CO2 doesn't become dangerous until 50,000 ppm. Currently the atmosphere is 385 ppm. We couldn't put enough CO2 into the atmosphere to be dangerous if we wanted to.

I just talk to him, when he gives me an opportunity to get out little nuggets of information I've been saving.

Learn that the capture of CO2 by plants is strategic in their own warfare.

I'm thinking back to the days when mankind wasn't around and all there was were dinosaurs, forests and the occasional NDP supporter. There were huge CO2 levels and temperature was warmer but everything was thriving pretty well.

The argument that oxygen was once toxic for life is irrelevant for the global warming debate.
