Laxer can kiss my proud Canadian ass!!! This is nothing more than a form of trying to add us to the melting pot.
If we were to do this, someone is going to say: "Hey, since we do the smae stuff, let's just join together."
Fuck, people like Laxer piss me off.....

You all may want to take a peek at this little tidbit we've dug up over at that 'other' site:
$1: Here's the scandal that should be outraging Canadians across the country. On September 12-14, elite proponents of deep integration from Canada, the U.S. and Mexico met at a secret conference at the Banff Springs Hotel. Stockwell Day, Tom d'Aquino and other high-profile Canadians were there. But the Hotel doesn't want to talk about it. No major media reported on the conference--not the Globe and Mail, not the National Post, not the Toronto Star, no one. Yet the topic of the conference, deep integration or the formation of a "North American Community" aka the North American Union, will profoundly affect everything in our lives from our health and security to the currency we use (soon to be the "Amero") to our very national identity. In essence, we will no longer be Canadians, but North Americans only--and worse, North Americans hog-tied in lock-step with the U.S. even as they gain open access to our energy resources.

We even got the whole 'guest' list, Gen Hillier, Donald Rumsfeld . . .all the usual and some unusual suspects.

I think we should expand out of North America. Maybe to our traditional allies the United Kingdom, Australia, and even New Zealand. The Tories seem to have some interest in these countries especially Australia.

The North American Union is simply a means to strip all of us of what rights we have left.
And the proof is in the pudding that there are no differences between the Liberals, NDP, Conservatives, Democrats, or Republicans when it comes to this evil attempt to create a transnational government to rob us of our rights.
Imagine having to turn to the Bloc for leadership to protect Canadian sovereignty?
In the USA we don't even have that option.
Pick up your guns and fight these people or else you'll lose Canada.

Why would they lose Canada Bart? What makes you think the American people want to join Canada?

BartSimpson BartSimpson: Pick up your guns and fight these people or else you'll lose Canada.
That is the route I really don't want to take, but fear we may have to. How else do you fight the backroom-out-of-public-and-media deals like this, if we don't cause a ruckus that can't be ignored?
Where's my Che t-shirt?

Perhaps not, but I'm damn sure they don't want to join Mexico.
So, why were all these big names in Banff last week, and no one noticed?

Sorry but I don't take anything seriously from that site. What they saw as deep integration could have been a meeting about condoms.
Besides, joining two countries takes ALOT more than talk at the highest levels. Germany and East Germany didn't become one country because a dozen Germans decided to have a beer together.
Americans don't want to join Canada or anybody else for that matter.

Well its not so much Americans want to join Canada most would have no objection of us joining them. I think that manifest destiny is still in them and many would love to see that American flag flying over Canada.
Just look at these fellows a mix of traitors and Yankee expansionists.

No Americans would not welcome you with open arms, because you're not American. I realise you all like to fling Manifest Destiny around, but shy away from realizing the area you occupied in 1867 and what you occupy today. I would suggest you look at your own Manifest Desitny.

Yes but ours was ours we don't want to be part of someone elses. You could say the entire British Empire was like our manifest destiny
