martin14 martin14: “I think, however, that I have been very, very clear in my approach as a feminist, as someone who has stood thoroughly and strongly all my life around issues of sexual harassment, standing against violence against women, that I don’t need to make any further comment at this time,” Trudeau said at a Parliament Hill press conference held jointly with Prime Minister Manuel Valls of France. https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/ ... -behaviourYup, no open condemnation, but a backhand slap nonetheless. So... that's insulting? Saying he doesn't like violence against women and he won't comment on the reports about Trump?

“I'm paid in Canadian dollars” - Chrystia Freeland Keep doing wacky stuff like insisting SJW ultimatums be embedded in trade deals and you might as well say pesos, Chrysty.

martin14 martin14: DrCaleb DrCaleb: We can start with PM virtue signaling when pussygate first started.
'As a feminist, I can blah blah.. so it's pretty obvious who I prefer as President'.
Paraphrase but gist. Quote, not paraphrase. With link. $1: OTTAWA – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — a self-described feminist — refused Thursday to condemn Donald Trump’s bad behaviour toward women.
Instead, Trudeau reminded reporters of his own actions when it comes to standing up against sexual aggressors in support of women.
“I think, however, that I have been very, very clear in my approach as a feminist, as someone who has stood thoroughly and strongly all my life around issues of sexual harassment, standing against violence against women, that I don’t need to make any further comment at this time,” Trudeau said at a Parliament Hill press conference held jointly with Prime Minister Manuel Valls of France.
Most notably, Trudeau, in early 2015, tossed two male MPs from his caucus on allegations that both made unwanted sexual advances against female MPs that were not in the Liberal caucus.
Valls, speaking to reporters at France’s embassy in Ottawa, said U.S. President Barack Obama was “elected by the world” and that “Trump is rejected by the world.”
The New York Times reported Thursday that two women had accused Trump of unwanted sexual advances, accusations the Trump campaign called fiction. Others have come forward as well after an audio tape emerged last week of Trump, years ago, boasting about how he got away with unwanted sexual advances.
“As a French political leader, I obviously hope Hillary Clinton will be elected president,” Valls said.
Trudeau, when asked if he agreed with Valls, maintained his neutral stance on Trump versus Clinton.
“I’ve said many times that I will work with whomever the American people elect to be their president.” https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/ ... -behaviourYup, no open condemnation, but a backhand slap nonetheless. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/po ... e32610296/Trudeau sought audience with Clinton before election, e-mails show Podesta emails good for something. martin14 martin14: Actually we should start with Obama sending his 2012 election advisers up to Canada to help PM Gropey in 2015.
$1: Does not back up what Bart posted. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/201 ... nning.htmlhttps://torontosun.com/2015/03/25/obama ... 32815a5779https://nationalpost.com/opinion/justin ... e-politicsit goes on and on.... So, what you have is ....nothing.

Progressives seem to have a hard time understanding this but being postured to as a moral inferior is insulting. It a taunt. And being taunted by a weakling is something you might smile at, at first but keep it up and you might get a chance to show how tough you really are.
That's where we as Canadians are right now with America. And the way some of you are posing as tough guys one gets the feeling you want to double down with fearless leader on his socialist justice.
Others among us heard the secret to diplomacy was give a little to get a little.

Don't like the SJW undertones of Canada's position, however, I also don't like having ultimatums rammed down our throats. I'm totally of the mind that Canada should go it alone. Build a Military for Canadians, build Industry for Canadians, create Jobs and Opportunity for Canadians. If the States wants to screw us let them, use this as a lesson as to why some foreign nations can't be trusted.

Tricks Tricks: So... that's insulting? Saying he doesn't like violence against women and he won't comment on the reports about Trump? No one cares what you think may or may not be insulting. Some might care what Trump might find insulting or not. It's obvious Justine has been an Obama/Clinton bumboi for a long time now. The Liberals have taken lots of shots at Trump, some subtle, some blatant. They figure the anti Trump stance will work domestically, and they may be right. As for the potential economic damage to Canada, they don't care about that. The next election..THAT they care about.

martin14 martin14: No one cares what you think may or may not be insulting. Some might care what Trump might find insulting or not. Trump thinks someone looking at him strange is insulting cause he's a giant man baby bitch. And if he find insulting "I don't agree with violence against women" followed by a no comment, then he is further proving something I've said 1000 times. The guy is the biggest snowflake on the planet. Who could possibly be offended or insulted by that? Aren't conservatives supposed to be tough? Why did they elect such a cry baby?

Coach85 Coach85: martin14 martin14: it goes on and on.... and yet, you haven't done anything to back up Bart's false claim. Too bad you spent all that time for nothing. ^^^ That. But, I do have a quote with links. The only thing Trudeau said; time and again, before, during and after the elections was: $1: “The relationship, the friendship between our two countries goes far beyond any two individuals or any ideology. I have tremendous confidence in the American people and look forward to working with whomever they chose to send to this White House later this year,” said Trudeau https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... annelName=

If the States wants to screw us let them, use this as a lesson as to why some foreign nations can't be trusted. That would be a neat trick. The first Trudeau deconstructed our military now we're thinking we can get the current Trudeau to build it back up. All while trade-warring with America. What should we use to build ourselves back up to being the world's 5th strongest military power (or whatever it was). Buttons? Here's another idea. Compromise. Mexico used this technique called "diplomacy" and they were able to strike a deal. Why couldn't we? Let's build up to be strong first then act tough when we actually are.
