martin14 martin14: Wrong. I have already pointed out where he said different. Yes, but Bart wrote: BartSimpson BartSimpson: We had a Presidential election that posed no threat to Canada yet your government went out of its way to insult, demean, and taunt candidate Trump and then President Trump.
And nothing you posted backs that up.

martin14 martin14: Calling in Obama's advisors. He wasn't prime minister yet. $1: Seeking an audience with Hildebeast (and not Trump) She hadn't even declared her candidacy yet at that point. Also, not prime minister. $1: Virtue signaling femnazi statements during pussygate. Not being okay with sexually assaulting women is feminazi virtue signaling?

I already posted Justin was trying to suck up to the Dummycrats for a long time. Tricks, watch the video with Valls, note the tone in the video of his femnazi singaling, and try to remember.... N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog: Progressives seem to have a hard time understanding this but being postured to as a moral inferior is insulting. It a taunt. And being taunted by a weakling is something you might smile at, at first but keep it up and you might get a chance to show how tough you really are.
Don't be such a prog.

I'm sorry, but if him saying he doesn't like violence against women is him trying to be morally superior, you need to question your own morals. That's kind of baseline of not being a shit human being.
Now it's not what he said? Now it's "the tone"? Yeah, well done snowflakes. Grow up.

Trump is an immoral and ethically-empty man. By default he will always be morally inferior to anyone who isn't of the same rotten character. His wealth and power are irrelevant, except that in combination with his reprehensible personality they make him dangerous. On the simplest and most basic level he is and always will be a terrible person.

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog: llama66 llama66: Don't like the SJW undertones of Canada's position, however, I also don't like having ultimatums rammed down our throats. I'm totally of the mind that Canada should go it alone. Build a Military for Canadians, build Industry for Canadians, create Jobs and Opportunity for Canadians. If the States wants to screw us let them, use this as a lesson as to why some foreign nations can't be trusted. That would be a neat trick. The first Trudeau deconstructed our military now we're thinking we can get the current Trudeau to build it back up. All while trade-warring with America. What should we use to build ourselves back up to being the world's 5th strongest military power (or whatever it was). Buttons? Here's another idea. Compromise. Mexico used this technique called "diplomacy" and they were able to strike a deal. Why couldn't we? Let's build up to be strong first then act tough when we actually are. I agree it would be a neat trick, but as we saw with Mulroney's 9 years in office and Harper's 10 in office, Conservatives don't really like to spend on the military either. Mulroney planned all sorts of big purchases (nuclear subs, icebreakers, tanks, more frigates, etc.), but when the time came to pay the bill, he balked and said the end of the Cold War meant the CAF didn't need those things any longer. Harper did the same thing, promising all sorts of new hardware, then delayed and cancelled and restarted then delayed projects over and over, causing our blue water fleet capabilities to rust out. He didn't order new fighters, SAR planes, or get the ball rolling on new destroyers like he promised. Heck, even the new army trucks that were part of his vaunted Canada First Defence Plan didn't get ordered while he was in office. The Liberals have more than their fair share of procurement disasters too (Victoria class SSKs and Cormorant ASW helicopters being the worst), but unlike the Conservatives, they don't tend to wrap themselves in the flag and claim they are more patriotic than the Liberals. Trudeau has taken a lot of criticism (deservedly so IMHO) for cheaping out on defence, but according to NATO, the previous government under Harper often spent less than Trudeau has in recent years (figures in USD). 2010: 18,690 2011: 22,040 2012: 19,994 2013: 18,221 2014: 18,150 2015: 18,700 2016: 18,172 2017: 20,315 (estimated) https://www.nato.int/nato_static_fl2014 ... 111-en.pdf2018 looks to be a low spending year as well (below 2017). Sadly, low defence spending is a non-partisan issue.

And you had nothing to begin with. And now you have even less. Just keep shouting 'it wasn't insulting, really it wasn't.' I'm sure someone will listen. Like the local Lieberal Party recruiting office.

I find it odd that people would have empathy for Megan saying she had been assaulted, then assume the Prime Minister of Canada shouldn't have at least the same reaction to violence toward women. DrCaleb DrCaleb: BartSimpson BartSimpson: I've answered this for you before and you're free to go look up that post. No, you ignored it before as well. {cough}

Democrats and Liberals are fairly ideologically aligned, so it only makes sense that Trudeau would seek to make inroads/build relationships with them, don't you think?
