I would love to stay in Canada and make it a better place but there are to many people like you who think that society owes them a job, owes them a living. If you were transplanted back to the days of sod roofed huts and back breaking labour would you spend all your time crying to the government to take care of you? I have no problem helping others out but you do not force people to give what they have worked for at the point of a gun. If you are not willing to hold a gun to my head to take my money for every little problem or difficulty that pops up in your life or someone else's life then don't make the government do it for you. I do not believe in the initiation of force unless force has been initiated upon me first (at which point I will most likely be dead). Every time you want to "take care," of someone, to "help," someone out you make the government do your dirty work for you, you don't even have the guts to point the gun at my head yourself. I suggest you read Dr. Mary J Ruwarts book, "Healing Our World." You may think you are liberal minded and all hippy lovey dovey but you espouse the use of government to initiate force upon those who do not agree with your values and beliefs. If you truly cared about people and respected others you would leave them alone and actually show some trust in human nature by letting people decide who and what they want to give the product of their labours to. But I see, YOUR cause is better than MINE, better than Mr. Smiths who lives down the road, YOUR cause is better because you might get the tryanny of the majority behind you. The Native Americans did not help each other because the government told them to, do you get it yet?
