I don't expect politicians to be perfect. No matter the party I support there's some policies I don't agree with.

With that, I tend to vote for the party that from my perspective that will do the least damage. I've already voted Conservative last weekend during the advance polls.

They don't have a chance in my riding and I have in the past voted tactically, but won't to do that this time around given the craziness of the polls.

It's an exciting election to say the least. The people of Québec dump the Bloc en masse with the NDP surge that followed.

Voting CPC.

Here are some of the reasons.

Right wing values
Immigration
Increase Military Spending

And so since Harper can sing so that matters most of all.

I'm voting Green as a protest vote. Gary Schellenberger (CPC) is going to win this riding by thousands, so my vote will have zero impact anyway. Too bad. Schellenberger is a party stooge with all the personality of Lenin's preserved corpse. The Conservatives could run an actual corpse and still win this riding.

To be honest, the purpose here is to let ev1 know that not all Quebecers vote Bloc.

As a CPC supporter, voting for a Federalist party is 1st and foremost. As mentionned, party values is a big part of it. Although, politicians, no matter the party, are still politicians. At least, people should differentiate what they are voting for instead of the popular vote creation of the media.

Voting CPC.

There is, in my opinion, no viable alternative to lead this country. Liberal party support has seemingly collapsed and as a right leaning centrist, I'll never go NDP.

Just as I'll never vote for CPC even though I have voted in the past for the old Progressive Conservatives.
NDP. We have a great MP in Nathan Cullen.
We will get service cuts and higher taxes with a CPC majority, the last thing Northern BC needs coming out of a very long slump.

AR is correct, that's what is done here. Just about any vote in Alberta that is other than for the CPC is a protest vote. I hear a couple of riding's have a long shot chance of going NDP mind you.

I don't trust Harper and think Iggy is a dud. Although I believe the NDP is necessary for Canada to act like it's social conscience and hope they have a strong showing every election, I don't want them to form the government.

What does that leave a fellow who thinks that all the alternatives are less than ideal? (an understatement) I was happy as hell to see the Rhino's had a candidate here in the Peace and I will be voting for him. If you're going to make a protest vote, you might as well make it as big a protest as ya can... :P

Oh, AR, after looking at your Avatar, here is a pic I took at the Alberta Summer Games in Nampa last summer...
