And I'm loving the game so far. I just wish I could download the extra armour and weapons I got with with my pre order. I hate EA's system for that stuff. God forbid they have in in-game redemption service.

You weren't able to get the pre-order stuff? That sucks...some of the weapons are pure awesome.

I just picked it up tonight. I had to stop myself before I got into it. Otherwise I would be up all night!

So far though it looks amazing! :D

You need an EA account. It has to be the most round about method of redeaming anything in game anyone ever devised.

It was the same with Dragon Age.

Go to ea.com and create an account, link your xbox profile to the account. Then go to masseffect.com and log in with your ea.com credentials.

There will finally and magically appear a "redeem code" button. I would do the cerberus network first.

My brother showed me his new Mass Effect 2 game. I saw the graphics and all I could say was "whoa!".

Apparently I was told two of the recognizable voice actors were Martin Sheen and the guy who voiced adult Enzo from the final "Reboot" series.

Shooting side is really well done. 3rd person. Cover system is utterly intuative. Vast array of upgradable weapons. For those of us who suffer from mild OCD, you can spend HOURS just surveying planets from space collecting resourses to do upgrades with.

RPG side seems pretty good so far, but I am only 4 or 5 hours in and just now getting the last of the core team together.

There's a notable lack of side quests, which was slightly disappointing...

But, a few things. A) Upgrade the ENTIRE ship. I'm not talking about weapons and armor of your crew (but do those too), upgrade the weapons, shields, armor, etc, of the actual ship. I won't say why. Just do it.

The reason why I beat the game so quickly was because of B) Not that many side quests... I was disappointed by this.

I have a redeem code for a Dragon Armor for Mass Effect 2. I don't want it as I don't want to buy Mass Effect 2. Not really my kind of game. Not exactly sure how good the armor is, however in DAO the armor was pretty good.

If anybody wants, just send me a PM. *EDIT* Code only works for the PC version, so don't send a message if you have a console version.

Clearly Sheen is by far the best of all of them but it may just be my video settings but it seems every times he takes a drag he is putting the smoke INTO his lower lip and not in his mouth. Kinda weird.

I agree. I played the 1st one through just for the story, ended up with a level 40 character and then did it again to do all the side missions and ended up with a level 55 which I then imported to this game. By far the most intriguing aspect of this game is the continuing thread of the story line.

The last game all the classes were pretty much the same and although you could play another gender or play as hardcore good or evil beyond that there wasn't much pull to get back into the game. This time they made it more open ended but also really did some amazing work with the dialog, the interrupt system make it have a much deeper impact on your involvement in the story itself. The mining however is the weakest part of the game, it feels tacked on and a time sink more then anything else.

The combat is so much better this time, I just wish they could map a 5 button mouse.
