IceOwl IceOwl: ridenrain ridenrain: sandorski sandorski: As long as Justice is served, I don't really care to have 24/7 analysis of the Trial. The Courts and Jury decides the Guilt/Innocence, not Public Opinion. sandorski says: Stop public trials because judges know best. More than the peoples right to know, it's the obligation of the Canadian citisen to be informed. What do you want to be informed of? The sentencing will be pretty obvious, the guy is clearly guilty as asphalt is black. The only purpose that more media coverage would serve is to sensationalise the whole case while continuing to ignore the issue of women living in poverty driven to prostitution.
Guilt is still open to debate, as all of this is just placing the bad guy and the dead girls at the same farm. If you'd been following this, you'd know the unbelieveable ability of the Canadian (In)justice industry to forgive the obvious. As an example, the judge who threw out a whole case against a hells angel because "no one would be that stupid to move meyth out of their own stotage locker".
Even when guilt is established, the penalies can be a joke and ultimately, the Canadian voters have to deal with the mistakes of the judges.
I can't believe a lefty like you and OPP would put such trust in any government. Isn't one of the fundamental pillars of the justice system that justice be seen to be done? Don't the citizens have a right to know?

IceOwl IceOwl: Biblical_Christian Biblical_Christian: Lots of the Old testament is just that. Old. Definition of Old:no longer in use, ANCIENT, obsolete, That could easily be said of the New Testament too. It's not that much younger, you know. It is a part of the Bible and you are apparently a "Biblical Christian." Of course, it's always convenient to ignore the parts of the bible that would put a stupid argument into a tailspin. Don't make excuses, you've made a very poor comparison and there isn't really any halfway about it. You have to read the NEW testament. It's a big book. I have read it numerous times. You area sking about peace from the Bible? Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the GOSPEL of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!Rom 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 2Cr 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.2Ti 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Hbr 12:14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:1Pe 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:
Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:
Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
These are all written in the NEW TESTAMENT.

You know, personal attacks don't make you're points sound any better, and you definately need help here. I just re-read you're participation on this thread and all you've done was shit on anyone who had an opinion.
Now you're saying that there's no need for publicity and the judges and the media should simply make this go away because it might upset some folks.
You also bleat about the "oppresed and poor minority" showing that you really have not been following this case in the least.
There's still a huge outcry from the Air India trial and the wasted millions. Should we sweep that under the rug too? Pretend like it didn't happen?
For a CT moonbat, you really don't want the people to know?

Bible Christians are NOT commanded to kill. Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. PPL wanted to literally kill PAUL. Act 26:21 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill [me]. Act 9:24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him. Jesus said...Jhn 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

Blather, blather, blather.
Lots of noise and no thought.
Why don't you actually follow the news and get back to us when you have an informed opinion.

You area sking about peace from the Bible? Actually, I didn't ask any questions. I know there are peaceful parts of the bible. I'm asking you to stop pretending to be ignorant of the violent parts just so that you can spread more lies about Islam. It's really unbecoming of a person who claims to be so righteous. Of course, when the bible talks about the righteous, it's not talking about the self-righteous, those people are crazy. Iceowl, I will respond tomorrow, Ok? I am so friggen tired, I'm almost falling over lol, have a good night.

Please get back on topic, I fail to see what the new testament has to do with the Pickton trial.

Iceowl had a question, it's not a sin to have questions. It's all cool.

Iceowl didn't discuss the trial in this entire thread, and if I responded in similar terms, I'm sure I'd be cooling my heels in jail too.
How about enforcing the rules evenly here.
