I have not heard anyone use "Wog" since the 70's. I live in London where we had a lot of Racist groups back then.

Yea 'wog' is definitely not a nice word in the UK.

But in the less than politically correct Canadian Army, especially Infantry Regts, it is a disparaging word for those who are not infantry, as in don't fight, as in with out guns'.

Just a bit of Canadian trivia from you chaps suffering life in the UK.

Thanks for the explanation EB, the next time I am in Brixton I will address my fellow shoppers as Wogs, and kindly explain your Canadian definition, I will survive for approx 5 mins ROTFL
