No, that's the thing that is making it difficult, do I really need 4WD in southern Ontario, but I do go up north very often to go skidooing.....hmmmm.

The odyssey does come with this really neat nav computer though.

Okay, if you're going onto some isolated backroads in winter 4WD becomes an advantage. On the other hand, I'll assume that the Odyssey comes with traction control. That and a good set of snow tires might be adequate for most winter conditions. Also, living without 4WD will save you a few thousand bucks, all else being equal.

I would not buy either one of those pieces of jap crap. Shame on your sorry ass for considering them for a final? choice? The Ford Freestar is a Canadian made mini-van. So is the Chrysler mini-van. Theres 2 choices for you ... Are you aware that if you were to purchase a Canadian made mini-van such as the Ford or Chrysler products above you not only keep Canadian autoworkers employed but also you help support up to 7 other Canadian jos that spin off from them.
Check it out (pdf)
I sincerely hope you change your mind, Avro.

Get the Honda, it's made in your country and has 4WD.

Avro Avro:
First off, look in the lemon aid guide and JD power to discover the true pieces of crap. When domestic manufacturers make a decent vehicle I will be glad to buy one.

Secondly, where do you suppose both the Jap vans are made? The Honda is made right here in Canada and the Sienna is made in the USA, know the facts before you comment.

I do know the facts Avro so don't act so arrogant. They may build them here but the money goes back to Japan and they STILL enjoy an unfair trade advantage and that costs jobs in Canada. Thanks for supporting your fellow Canadians Avro!

Not all reasons are the same but I prefer the crew cab diesel 35 plus mpg and lots of room 4x4 and with the canopy you can carry anything you want to keep dry or sleep back there at the lake. You can get some really good deals on 94 - 2000 Fords and some of the Dodges aren't bad for price either.
