Today, Canada did not play to their potential. But the good news is that even when Canada doesn't perform to their ability they can still win. Canada will get going saturday vs Sweden now that Brodeur has shaken on the goal rust. Nash and Thornton are awesome but I want to see Heatley get going. He is usually the goal scorer for Canada the past few years but now he's silent. And as for the defence, they have to work abit harder aswell. Boyle and Redden have been our best D thus far but I think Jovo and company will turn things up saturday.

U.S.A vs Finland is gonna be a decent game. Im going for Finland in this one.

USA tied Finland, it was almost a crushing defeat for the Americans, but they got a last second goal to tie things up. I'm rather happy they didn't win, that's very good news for Canada.

Sweden's looking a bit too good, unless Jovo and co can get going, Brodeur is going to need to seriously kick in and save our asses.

We play Finland on Sunday, and Ukrain on tuesday. Goo team Canada gooooo!

Damn! So close, Finland almost took down the Americans.

Well, Canada vs Sweden next baby!

I might just have to start having some whiskey at 1:00 tommorow when the game starts.

Hah...

That game was good, that last goal by Sweden was depressing...

But what about the Finland game? Wow is this depressing. It's in the third period, 1-2 for Finland. It's un fucking beliveable how terrible the defence has been. Finland scored on a 4 on 1. FOUR ON ONE, and the Canadian D couldn't take him down. God this is kinda sad... Least Redden got a nice goal, might give us what we need to one.

Look like Canada has decided to play a little bit here in the third. Almost looks like they're trying, huh, who would have thought that would happen after the first two periods? I think Rick Nash is the only guy thats shown up today.
