$1: In 1947, Serge Krylov, a judge at the International Court of Justice at the Hague, said that any treaties "by which an imperialist power imposes its will upon a weaker state" are invalid.
Interesting. First, I can find no evidence whatsoever that Serge Krylov ever said this. I find repeated instances of his 'quote' but there are inconsistencies there, too. He is cited as saying this as a judge, as if it were a precedent, but then he is also cited as saying it as just an opinion during a class or seminar. He did not make this statement as part of the JUDGMENT OF 15 DECEMBER 1949 and it is therefore not a binding part of international law.
Considering Krylov was a Soviet I find this amusing that the Cuba situation should be considered so much different than the Warsaw Pact.

GreatBriton GreatBriton: The US should take a leaf out of Britain's book.
You never see us stealing land.
Which book, the history books? Yep, never see the British taking land in those.

No , those fifty odd countries we ruled just voted us in and were glad to be British. No invasion, land theft or nasty stuff was ever done by the British.
Another pearl of wisdom from GB. You should stick to 'cut and paste' my old chum. Once you use your own words it's quite obvious you are brain dead.

A true statement Regina. The British Empire wasn't built on goodwill, nope it was built on muskets, slaves and a fair chunk of larceny!
GB is obviously using his small cranium to examine himself internally through his rectum, bless his little cotton socks.....

You're being funny, right? ha ha....
The Spanish still can't figure out why the Brits are camped out at Gibraltar. And the Argentines have been looking longingly at Falklands, etc...
Ok... everyone at Gitmo take a vote for independence.... Oh, what? They want America to stay? Well.... can't argue about that.
And why are the French still camped out on that little island off of the Canadian coast?

How did the US steal it again? That made no sense, sounds like Castro wrote it.

They should do. After all, they signed the Treaty of Utrecht handing Gibraltar to Britain.

Well, there was no invasion or land theft when it comes to the Falklands and Gibraltar.
Spain gave Gibraltar to Britain by signing the Treaty of Utrecht. So they are a bit stupid demanding it back.
The Falklands have NEVER belonged to Argentina, as they belonged to Britain before Argentina even came into existence. And, on top of that, an Englishman was the first person to ever spot the Falklands.
The last poll done in Gibraltar, 99% of Gibraltareans voted to remain British, and you'll be hard pressed to find any Falkland Islanders wanting to be Argie.

Ok... take a vote at Gitmo.... most folks there will want to keep the status quo... probably even the Cubans who work there.
