http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Layton Layton and Chow were also the subject of some dispute when a June 14, 1990 Toronto Star article by Tom Kerr accused them of unfairly living in a housing co-operative subsidized by the federal government, despite their high income.[23] Layton and Chow had both...

Someone did that sort of thing to my dog. Poor guy was blind, fortunately temporarily; his sight returned in a day. We had taken him at specialist for eye conditions; he said the only explanation was some sort of poison. We never did find out who was responsible even though suspicions exist. That was...

The candidates are smart? Get a load of Ruth Ellen Brosseau. See the story here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/story/2011/04/28/ottawa-cv-election-ndp-candidates.html Plus she can't speak French in a riding where 98% can. Question: When the NDP bring in a National Day Care program, do their p...

Building a new relationship could mean all sorts of things, but it's very much needed. First nations in many parts of this country are in dire need of help. The only way that can be done is through self determination/governance. The current way has lead to unsustainable reliance. Very sad to actual...

You can ask Peter to be charitable to the consumer but he is responsible to the shareholders first. I have a good idea of what that means, I think. Cable based internet is affected by use in terms of speed (more users = slower service overall). Does it not make sense to charge for use when all are a...

Went to Timmy's for about 35 years. A colleague owns a franchise; the cost of which was $700,000 + land (~ 6 yrs. back). The cost of raw materials (water, heating it, coffee, cream, sugar, cup, lid) to make a small coffee is less then 20 cents. Good business model. For the last 5 years I have gone t...

Curtman Curtman:
Good to see Jack Layton leading the coalition now.

That's right ... Jack made no promises not to form a coalition as did that Liberal leader ... that "smart feller" or better described as that "fart smeller".

Time for the party I support to have a membership drive and drive assholes like Carson into a hole. Conservative values I support are to rid the country of such vermin. I know of others that can take a hike ... I'll pay the fare.

I am a Conservative. I personally know high profile members including one who ran for leadership. I admire their principals and morals. The Conservative majority has chosen some obnoxious leaders (more so recently than in the past). Certain MPs should never come back to public life (... ODA). Action...
