Completely unrelated to Islam (which is a religion of peace):

$1:
Teachers working in the predominantly Muslim districts of Molenbeek and Schaerbeek in Brussels have reported that “90 percent of their students, 17, 18 years old” called the Islamist terrorists who attacked Paris and Brussels “heroes”.

The revelation came in an article in the New York Times, wherein Steven Erlanger spoke to a Belgian policymaker who relayed the information from Belgium.

The piece, entitled “Blaming Policy, Not Islam, for Belgium’s Radicalised Youth”, interviewed Yves Goldstein, chief of staff for the minister-president of the Brussels Capital Region and a Schaerbeek councilman. Schaerbeek and Molenbeek are now infamous as the areas in which for months Islamists lived, hid, manufactured weapons and made preparations for the Paris and Belgium attacks.

Reflecting that “our cities are facing a huge problem, maybe the largest since World War II,” Goldstein poses the question, “How is it that people who were born here in Brussels, in Paris, can call heroes the people who commit violence and terror?”

Dismissing the idea of Islam having played any role in the Paris attack and the bombing of Brussels airport and a subway station claiming that “religion for them is a pretext” and that they “believe in nothing,” the politician the boldly claims that the problem is a lack of exposure to diversity and modern art:

“We have neighborhoods where people only see the same people, go to school with the same people. What connection do they have with the whole society, what connection do they have with real diversity? It’s the establishment of the ghetto,” he says, “and it’s the thing in our urban development that we have to tackle.”

“These young people will never go to museums until 18 or 20 — they never saw Chagall, they never saw Dalí, they never saw Warhol, they don’t know what it is to dream.”

Erlinger reports that “Jews have left Schaerbeek, and the last two synagogues are being sold. Instead, there is a kind of suffocating, insular, ethnic uniformity” and describes Belgium’s system of integration as “somewhere between the French model, which put new immigrants in suburban ghettos, and the British and American one, which created communities like Chinatown or Little Italy.”

The sheer stupidity, and apologist actions by lefties in relation to the actions and statements of muslims is mind-boggling.

Well for the record her being lesbian wasn't a factor - the barber didn't want to touch any strange women - but she took him to human rights tribunal you righties despise so much and he settled for an undisclosed amount.

Careful. The predominantly christian Americas have had tons of occurrences of GLBT murders and deaths based on their sexuality; 594 deaths and 176 serious assaults in 2013 and 2014. Especially trans women were targeted. Even though they make up a small proportion of the community almost half of recorded deaths and assaults were on them.

The activist queers don't have the nerve to protest against the Muslims because the Muslims are not afraid of them. That's part of why I denounce the activists as bullies is because they prefer victims who won't fight back.

Usually when gay people protest the actions of fundamentalist Islam, you call us hypocrites. I'm not kidding, you've called gays "lavender jihadis" in the past. Pride parades around the world are already bombed and attacked, even in Europe or other parts of the Western world in 2015, whether it's Christians with smoke bombs and stonings in the Ukraine, or Jewish stabbings in Israel. Croatia has sustained attacks every few years, and a few years back almost had assailants manage to throw molotov cocktails. Serbia has similar attacks. They're lucky; in other places, even spots like Brazil, bombings happen. It's easy to pass off the bravery of people willing to risk that and protest anti-homosexuality coming from across the religious and national spectrum from the safety of Canada, or Southern California, Bart.

Seriously, this whole "the left doesn't protest Islam" thing doesn't hold up when I can quote you yourself posting on here about people on the left protesting it. Such as this feminist who pooped and menstruated on the ISIS flag, which you posted about and whom you called braver than the president.

Muslims make up a minority in most of the west, and christians a majority. Most of the major outfits fighting against gay rights in the western world have been christian. The focus from gay groups is necessarily going to focus on the greatest threat to their rights and freedoms, so they are going to talk about christianity more in a place where there are more christians. This makes sense. Will they still protest fundamentalist Islam and it's policies? Yes. They have, and they do.

I have stayed out of this thread because I think it is well.........pretty stupid. I still do, but I wanted to point out something about the lack of respect the left has about Christians. You are admittably a leftist. Several times in your post you failed to capitolize the word Christian/ Christians. The only time the word WAS capitalized is when the word was used in a link, as in YOU did not capitalize it, someone else did. I notice that you did not make the same mistake when you used the words: Muslim, or Islam. You never failed to capitolize those words, not even once. Is that an intentional slight on your part? A Freudian slip perhaps? I find it hard to believe that a man as intelligent as yourself was that careless in your posting. Do you see why some people feel that the left has no problem attacking Christianity, yet seem to go out of their way to not offend Muslims?
