BartSimpson BartSimpson: Given that the Tea Party kids in Congress are already being treated like shit - and they haven't even been sworn in yet - I'm expecting a near civil war for the 2012 Presidential Nomination. On the GOP side we've already got the 'Romneybots' out supporting Mitt Romney and he's viciously opposed by conservatives because he's the father of socialised health care in Massachussetts. No kidding: If Romney gets the GOP nod in 2012 I'm voting for Obama. If I'm going to have a socialist in the White House I'll be damned if I don't vote socialist, too. haha, divide and conquer? Damn those Dem's and their foresight!

Ottawa's been one of the world's most popular locales for spying, by all sides, since the Cold War began. How this story is some sort of a surprise to anyone is kind of baffling.

Well, it's not like the facts about this will stop any of the Obama-haters out there. Facts haven't stopped them thus far and it's, sadly, unlikely to change anytime soon.

Yes... facts suck. That and logic... yes logic sucks too. And so does common sense, and reason, open mindedness...

QBC QBC: BartSimpson BartSimpson: LOL!!!! So, any regrets for supporting this asshat yet? Umm, we didn't elect him, your country did. The majority of American citizens in a democratic election exercised their freedom of choice and chose this man as your countries leader. Weather or not any Canadian liked or disliked this man is completely irrelevant as he is your President, not our Prime Minister. We cannot regret an irrelevancy. Oh, and you think he's the first President to send spies north of the border?... How is it a Canadian forum gets spammed by the Ha ha I told you so crowd of Obama haters? What makes Americans think we even give a shit about their fucked up politics here? (aside from something to giggle at)

I'm concerned about American politics about as far as where American policy has a chance of significantly effecting us. Otherwise I don't think it's any of our business what they do down there.

I think everyone's politics is everyone's business, especially nowadays... Of course, I don't believe that in a belligerent attitude, I don't believe it's 'our' business... Specifically we have nothing to expect or demand from America ourselves. But it's certainly something we should be concerned about, and oppose if we feel we should.
I feel America effects others business. They are far from alone obviously.

Oh, well yeah. America's Pop Politics is hardly stuff we should bother ourselves with, not unless they are actually making decisions. Which I doubt they'll ever get to do. My doubt is based on my confidence in the American people to see through BS.

It's no surprise, just not nice to have it out in public. On the other hand, I doubt any of the big US networks will pick it up anyway. More confirmation that Oboobma is no friend of Canada. Maybe it's time people in Canada woke up to that.

Maybe Canada should wake up to the fact that no American administration is our friend.

I dont know that Palin would be much better for us, but I knew from the beginning that Oboomba would not be to our benefit.
