I just knew that at some point there would be an incident in which a missile would miss Ukraine and strike a neighbouring country and thus change the scope of the invasion.

So far Russia is, of course, denying that they had anything to do with it despite the FACT that they are bombarding Ukraine with missiles. Perhaps it was an accident, a miscalculation or something like that.

But, perhaps it was a deliberate "test" by Russia to see how NATO will react.

I doubt this would go nuclear, but it could be a bloody nose for whoever launched those missiles. They may have just lost all the anti-air and launch systems for 50 km around the site. Similar to what happened everytime Saddam lit up US fighters in the no-fly zone.

They are scraping the bottom of the barrel for mid-long range strike ordinance. A LOT of what they have left is addressed to a postal code not a precision strike. It's amazing this hasn't happened already.

Even their "best" stuff is shit. I was reading a while ago that even their precisian guided missiles have over a 50% failure rate.

Some of their stuff has an accuracy of 10 miles, Give or take. So only 3 miles inside Poland isn't bad.

Its the 500 miles from any military target that is bad.
