Battlestar Gallactica was awesome. Took me a while to get into it but it is certainly a good series to watch even if one isn't into sci-fi.

I remember watching the original back when I was younger. My dad liked it back then, and when I told him about the new series he didn't want to watch it because Starbuck was turned into a girl.

Not because he's sexist or anything but I guess it's like turning Spock into a woman, making Seven of Nine a man or making Vader into a Wookie.
