I mostly write and take pictures in the winter. In the summer there's gardening and my walking tractor to tinker with.

Last night we went out to friend's place and I got heavily involved in his latest hobby...a 1930's(?) Cockshutt 20 tractor. His wife got it for him for X-mas. This thing is a complete basket case, but we got the engine out and it isn't even seized. My hands aren't going to be clean for weeks...old grease has incredible staying power...but he fed us supper and I drank something like a million beer, so what the hell?

He says it's the best gift ever and she never paid a dime for it.

Year round I like to build plastic model aircraft of the RAF/commonwealth and German Luftwaffe of WWII.I'm getting ready to take a break from aircraft though, and buy and build a 3 1/2 ' long U Boat with some of the cash I got for Christmas. I also like to read alot, but I'm not sure it's a hobby. In my spare time I enjoy the gym and also figuring out how I can move to Canada 8)

man....my typing sucks....

Blubs, I to have about 65 5L or bubba cans....man y'all s brewers are going crazy with them...some have really nice graphics...I specialise in a certain defunct canadian brewer [ take a guess]...and have about 160 different cans from them...as well almost every canadian can ever made with the exception of cone tops...I have about 5000 different cans in the basement...crazy but it gives me something to do

Electric, I used to be into ww2 planes..my older brother was the expert...he would research various pilots and make their planes...1/48 ..he was a really good painter...his looked like what you'd see as examples in hobby shops...till he went to collage...they got blowed up one day...too bad

he built a uss constitution that was museum quallity....still has that one...took him 3 yrs to do it...riggins and all....

I am into tomb kings or army o darkness as I call it...little 25mm dead guys.....I always like skeletons...my son thinks they are " cool".....so there you have it...

Rev, sound like you'll be busy for awhile...good luck with it....do you have a waggon for that thing?

Not my hobby, Feeko...antique tractors require a lot of money and arcane metal-working capabilities. You need to be a rich hillbilly just to pay for the beer involved in getting friends to lift heavy things. I just show up to exercise my back and because of my long-standing interest in machines that kill.

He's got a couple of wagons and I'm going to see if I can get him a wheel saw, mower and rake from my Grandpa's...it's just sitting there rotting anyway. Speaking of things that kill...that saw is reputed to have killed two men. My great-grandfather bought it to hook up to a steam tractor.

Home renovations is my hobby. My wife and I bought a beautiful 1940's house in July with a harbour view and with the UGLIEST paint/carpet/wallpaper you have ever seen, and a bathroom that had to be gutted (everything was original in it....)

Never a dull moment - fix up the outside in the nice weather and the inside in the crappy weather........

I enjoy hiking, travelling, shooting, martial arts and computer gaming. I'm also a bona fide internet junkie and I'd really like to "detox" myself for the new year!
