Actually, WHISKY is the American spelling. Canadian whisky is spelt properly.

All local whisky bottles here are spelt 'whisky'. It's how it's been spelt since gaelic was was relegated to the back burner.

Otherwise it was 'uisge-beatha'

and yes I do own a Scots gaelic dictionary. I study it in my spare time.

Do a search for gaelic software. I used to have a free program that helped with the learning curve.

I don't use software as it's harder for me to pick up on pronunciation (I have a hearing loss)---I learn better when I can actually lip read the person who's teaching a language,

I've got a dictionary right here.

Don't forget there's about 7 different different kinds of Gaelic as well. Irish gaelic (gay-lic), Scots Gaelic (pronounced GALLic) Welsh gaelic, Cornish gaelic, and parts of france have their own celt gaelic as well.

It's so interesting, the language over here!!

I drink Gatorade... a lot of Gatorade.

The tally of the cans of powder I bought since May is now at 37. At 8L per can, I've consumed around 300L, or about 1 litre a day

coke. Definately coke. Did you know we can get Diet Coke with lemon or lime or vanilla or cherry. The cherry one I haven't tried yet, but I'm gonna. I hope it tastes nice.

I drink a lot of coke, but I also drink as much milk as I do coke, if not more.
