Especially when it is mixed with finely chopped onions, green hamburger relish, mashed into a paste and then made into sandwhichs. Much as I loved my Mom, I couldn't choke this 'puke' down no matter...! PDT_Armataz_01_32

Fry it with the scrambled eggs and ham ration pack.

Stays with you all day. So does the taste.

Yum!

My gramma used to make that... and it was good. Tongue, too.

I won't eat it now though.

*ug* Me too. Can't stomach it now. Tongue, tripe, headcheese, none of it. But I still love a good blutwurst.

Head cheese. Not in a million years!!! Just the thought of this stuff gets the adrenal glans into overdrive and causes an extensive workout of the gag-reflex!

Headcheese/smegma! So referred to as I was growing up, and have never been able to forget it!

(wiki smegma) ***only if you have a strong stomache!***

I've only ever had the blutwurst in the German Army ration pack. It was OK but nothing to really rave about. Same with the sheep and green beans in the French Army rats.

Fresh cat and goat stew from the Nepalese was pretty good on a cold February night.
