I posted this one because I liked the BCF comment to it:

$1:
Andrew Scheer says if a Conservative candidate has made racist or homophobic comments in the past he will stand by the candidate as long as they apologize and take responsibility for those comments.

Scheer denied the party is re-vetting candidates after Liberal party researchers discovered and published a trove of controversial social media posts made by Conservatives running in the fall election.

“As long as someone takes responsibility for what they’ve said, and addresses the fact that in 2019 some things that may have been said in the past are inappropriate today, that if anything that they’ve ever said in the past caused any type of hurt or disrespect to one community or another and have apologized for that, I accept that,” Scheer said to reporters during an overnight flight on his campaign plane from Ottawa to Vancouver.

"OMG! A candidate expressed anti-abortion views and another expressed concerns over the Islamist cult while yet another said something homosexuals didn't like. And Lord Have Mercy! Another was a friend of Faith Goldy! The Horror! The Horror!

The CBC running interference for the Liberal Party? What a shock! Nuke the CBC."

Apologies aren't enough, because odds are most of them still believe the horrible things they've said/done. A prime example of that is Michael Cooper, who should have been turfed from the party after hus reprehensible behaviour in committee.

That makes me wonder why the Liberals haven't booted Kent Hehr, a noted sexual predator, out of caucus. Then again, Trudeau infamously groped a female reporter in Creston and his body language around women is downright creepy.

Apparently there's also a bunch of conspiracist shitbird types running for the Greens as well. May refuses to boot them because all that matters is their Green cred.

The apology circus has to end regardless. It merely plays into the hands of insincere virtue-signally assholes like Trudeau anyway. This isn't just tone-policing anymore. It's active totalitarian forcing of what are and aren't "acceptable" beliefs and opinions by the Twitter mob. Look under the Liberal rock a bit closer and you'll find most of those twats have also said something "wrong", according to social media, at least once on the internet. It's idiocy to let a political party that naturally tainted by their own cretinism and inherent dishonest bullshit to get away with it just because they got the jump on the other parties with a hokey and utterly hypocritical internet purity test.

Passed a People's Party rally in Prince George yesterday. All 8 of them waving signs.

I was really disappointed as I hoped they'd get enough support to weaken Capt Zero and the Nothing To Offer Conservatives. Try harder guys!

Who cares they are entitled to an opinion, if they said something 10 years ago it should not haunt them today. Big deal don't like the Muslim religion. It is Canada you are free to have that right. Honor Killings, forced marrage, what ever.......
