USA, you're forgetting there are as many varieties of severity of Autism & Ausphger's Syndrome as Seasonal Allergies, not all Autistics, are as disabled as you think.

It's a broad spectrum of a disorder medical science is yearly redefining.

Bully for you, Scape. Autism isn't a DSM IV mental illness, it's a communications disorder, and the jury is still out on it's cause. I personally know a surgeon in NB who is Autistic... albeit not a 'people person', but more than competent in his job. These stigmas must stop, and what you've posted ...
