"I have been - regularly. The general response from you has been the quick spiral into the Harper is bad mythos and the faint patronizing suggestion of the noble savage can do no wrong and just doesn't know any better anyway." Really, please refresh my poor attention with your application ...

Well then from one example to another I hope you are enjoying this meaningless and trivial discussion which has nothing of an "application of a critical analysis of the issue in a holistic sense" When and if you ever want to have such a discussion be sure post your points.

Well EyeBrocks comment was that I was a Great example, which is different from your comment. But what you say may be true in peoples perceptions, whether standing up and speaking your mind on an important issue is enough to justify that identification with the movement is questionable though.

Wow, you sure are wrapped up in a point of view that doesn't allow for any criticism of natives. It's not surprising that Bonokowski's kind of commentary doesn't strike a chord with all non-natives. According to polls and comments and such, I'm glad to find that your point of view is a minority one...

No, but I am wrapped up in a point of view that get's riled up when I see self contradictory and confrontational and inaccurate criticism of natives. As opposed to Idle No More's self contradictory, confrontational, and inaccurate statements regarding their movement, Canada, and Canadians? Such as,...

I watched some of the Winnipeg Ottawa game, it looked like good hard hitting, fast, well played, good passing emotional hockey. Then I went and watched a local senior hockey league game, it was good hard hitting, fast, well played, good passing emotional hockey. And it ended in a shorthanded, overti...

Developing focus is only the beginning stage of mindfulness. You need focus to maintain "choiceless awareness." This develops equanimity as you watch phenomena arise and pass away, arise and pass away. Here's Shinzen Young (I've sat in his retreats) on the subject: Whenever one brings min...

The sunday edition discusion wasn't bad, I think it focused on the normal media hype and didn't deal in depth with the serious issues that Idle No More has outlined around our environmental and resource abuses, but well worth listening to. http://www.cbc.ca/thesundayedition/ I don't know that the po...

The CBC Radio one discussion with three former Indian Affairs ministers will be starting now, in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Should be interesting at least.

Willfully obtuse here. She is an opportunity whore because she is using Idle No More to refight the AFN election she lost. Why is it that I get the feeling you'd glad hand an extremist rhetoric spewing cartoon like Palmater in a heartbeat yet you'd be shouting down an extremist rhetoric spewing car...

Idle No More: The rise of Pam Palmater Every morning, Pam Palmater’s Grade 2 class in Fredericton stood up and sang “O Canada.” One day, she decided not to stand with the rest of the class. The other kids made fun of her. She was the only person sitting down. But her older brother told her she had ...

I don't think I worry too much, but what you are suggesting is that the government is capable of ordering, and there are police who would carry out assassination, so you think I should worry more about that? I suppose we can say we heard it here first. Pretty ugly though , so lets hope you are wron...
