Only one name comes to mind, RUSH Over 30 years in the business proves they can stand the test of time and still play to sell out crowds any where in the world they play.

Hats off to Geddy, Alex and Neil for a job well done and to there future.

nad how many progressive rock bands can claim to have recieved the Order of Canada.

I used to like his stuff from the early days, but he seemed to lose something as the years passed. I don't like anything he has put out in a long time.

well you noticed 1 glitch that I apoligize for It turns out Dee snider was born in New York state.. I met him when he was living in ottawa. at the time he was doing a program across canada for youth in colleges. one of the leading advocates for making certain drunks weren't leaving establishments with thier vehicles.. awareness campaigns etc.... I will remove The TS from the list.

I think that Rush is one of the greatest bands in the world and could certainly be considered Canada's best band. Triumph is another band that probably deserves mention. Other than being Canadian, both bands share a common thread in that they are three man bands.
