I don't really mind that you're incapable of coming up with anything by yourself. I get it. It's a pod people thing, and I'm one to help the misfortunate. But you could at least say thank you once in awhile.

No, the difference between you and I is that; I don't label people, and then argue how that label fits them. I dispassionately analyze their arguments and deal with their argument accordingly. I don't demean or insult people in order to make my weak or non-existent argument seem stronger, and I never attack them or their opinions. Only their argument.

For me, it's never personal. For you, it always is. Thievery, lack of intellect, "pod people". Why would I thank you for insulting me? And why would I even care that you did?

And, like P_D says, "Tropic Thunder" came up with it long before you did. Give credit where credit is due!

Just my two cents and I mean no offense to either of you especially as I like both of you...

Here goes...

Fiddy & Dr. Caleb, I've often wondered why you two don't get along better because from where I sit the two of you are probably the most alike people on this forum. Seriously, you two have a writing style that's very, very similar and you both argue things in much the same manner.

I know you may disagree on many issues, but that shouldn't preclude you from being friends. You two have an awful lot in common and I'd think you'd get along better if perhaps you get to know each other a bit better.

Maybe a phone call is in order?

I don't disagree with you Bart. I think that the only real difference between us is the personal attacks. I don't really care about them, but I do find they distract from some of the good discussions that Fiddly and I have.
