When seriously considered Alberta gains zero economic advantage from being a member province of Canada.

You literally have no idea what you're talking about. I literally laughed out loud reading that sentence.

Perhaps just stick to the 'woe is me' mantra...that's definitely your strong suit.

We actually dont get shit from the rest of you.. but the rest of the country suckles on the teet of Alberta and bitches when we don't give you the shirt off our backs. Fuck this, give us the right for self determination

Don't bother, dude. He's just a smarmy little punk from the self-designated center of the universe who thinks he's all that. Not worth your time or mine given how often he insults and gets in fights with almost everyone here, left, right, or center.

Where are you seeing or hearing this sentiment?

I think there’s a massive problem with perception. People perceive others in the Country feeling a certain way about them when in reality, it’s not really the case.

Yea, better stick to your typical depressing lines of misinformed garbage, right?

The big boys are talking. Discussions and disagreements are not “fights”. This isn’t grade 9. Explore the world beyond your moms basement and stop pretending you know everything.

Hey there was no trans-mountain pipeline this summer when gas was over $1.40 a litre so I have a hard time believing this is all the fault of the evil non-Albertans and FN. The ability of the oilpatch to move oil hasn’t changed why did they produce such an oversupply?

I’m just really skeptical of the oil companies’ motives and actions and notice that Albertans never seem to point the finger in that direction whatever the oil executives say seems to be accepted as gospel. I notice the top 5 oilsands producers are still profitable and collectively make the same revenue as the Alberta government.

https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.4896996

These same companies also own the refineries why aren’t there any refineries in Alberta?

But it’s all Ontario’s fault!

From the only person that matters: The PM. He's dismantling the O&G industry, and then enacting legislation to ensure it can't be rebuilt. Essentially he's fucking with the livelihoods 4.2 million Canadians. The rest of you didn't want the Energy East pipeline because it contained our oil. And the rest of you aren't exactly marching in the streets to support your fellow Canadians that are out of work.

It IS time for Alberta to decide..

1. Stay and endure more of the same, hoping that one day the narrative changes

or

2. Separate and determine our own narrative.

I vote for option 2.

I like the title, he's not selling it as a good thing for Alberta, but as a bad thing for the rest of Canada. Alberta complains that the ROC hates you... but it seems that it's Alberta that hates the ROC. :(

It's less that and more Alberta is tired of being punted in the face.

At this point in my life, I don't fucking care what you guys do, if you want to go, just go.

For the record, you have officially replaced Québec as the whiniest province in Canada.

If it makes you feel any better then note this:

Gas is cheaper in Hawaii than in California despite the fact that their gas is refined in California and then shipped 2500 miles to get to Hawaii.

All because our fucked up Democrats laid on a ~$.50 per gallon tax to 'fight global warming' (and pay for welfare for illegal aliens).

We're due for a Yellow Vest protest in California.

He's not dismantling the O&G industry. O&G is a global industry that is very volatile.

Hundreds of municipalities to the East signed on to make this happen. Many levels of government along with industry, manufacturing and customers supported this project. You're acting like the project received zero support which is totally disingenuous.

Did I miss the protests in Alberta a couple weeks ago when GM announced the plant closures in Ontario?

Did I miss the protests in Alberta for the 14,000 construction jobs lost in Sask?

The 14,000 jobs lost over 3 years? Nice spin. I like that, you have a promising future in politics. Thanks for playing.

As for your drivel about O&G being "volatile". Sure it is. But enabling laws that make it near impossible to get a pipeline built, does that help or hinder us?

You say Trudope isn't trying to dismantle the O&G industry. Like dubya, Little Potato is finishing what daddy tried to do in the 80's.. Destroy our industry.

Need more? From Trudope the Traitor's mouth...

You blathered that hundreds of municipalities "signed on" for Energy East, so why did you allow one province to kill it? That's right because the rest of this country is on their collective knees taking Quebec's cock. This is what pisses us off.

I think you've just demonstrated your true colours here.

Who gives a shit about the rest of Canada, right? 14,000 workers in Sask? Who cares. Closed plants in Ontario? Fuck'em.

It doesn't matter how much it effects those areas so just because it wasn't 'as bad' as Alberta, they should just shut up and move on?

Which specific laws were enabled?

Or maybe you need to dig into the entire story rather than sitting back and blaming everyone East of Canada? Perhaps the First Nations in Canada had a role in this? No...must only be Quebec.
